Have fun while doing good yet again SUN. 11am at McNear Park when Mentor Me holds its first ever BOOCE BALL-A_Paloosa, meaning, of course, there’s LUNCH and MUSIC and RAFFLE PRIZES and the joy that is Bocce Ball.

First team we know of includes the very popular John Crowley of Aqus Cafe fame and our real estate guy, Time Rivetti. Who will win? Will they make us laugh, gasp, cheer in the process? Bound to be fun. And you help our local kids at risk have happier lives with the care they need from adults (could be you!)

Just once I got the chance to play Bocce Ball – and loved it. Up off Sonoma Mountain Road, friends of friends have a court. But down here in the flats, McNear Park, anyone can play Sunday starting at 11am – and support the fine Mentor Me Petaluma to boot.

Found Bocce Ball to be addictive fun – you want to keep going when you’re done.

A great way to spend the day when its Indian Summer – get thee outside and share the day with friends! Event begins 11am with first match after lunch and the last competition around 5p.

The spectator category is reasonable: $30; and pay $75 to play or $250 to bring your own team of four and complete.

Mentor Me founder, Val Richman, and her right arm, Linda Lipps, have created a whole fun day here by adding live music a raffle.

Do good while having fun; a great combo.
