Come if you at all can…10:30am at Lake Merritt Amphitheater. May still be room on a bus (check for bus info and to rsvp. But, of course, there’s plenty of room on the grass so just come if you can!

There isn’t anything more important than dealing with climate crisis as we look to 190 nations (Jerry Brown as a NATION!) coming together in Paris 11/30-12/11. Crossing fingers these mostly guys come to a real agreement on pushing back climate crisis.)

We’ll be on the bus again – a great way to talk with others who care. So glad for this opportunity to stand for the real changes we must have to keep our planet liveable. 350 East Bay is a strong, big group and inventive. Last time we went to a rally at Lake Merritt, it included great potluck food, fantastic music and about 1,000 people I’d love to hang out with.

From 350.org this am:

The world needs you, now. Come to Oakland tomorrow for a couple of hours and show up for our future. TOMORROW’s NCCM march is expected to be the largest Global Climate March in the United States, but only with your and your friend’s help.

BREAKING: Due to the heightened security situation, the French government will not allow the Global Climate March planned in Paris.

From 350.org:
“We encourage everyone around the world to join a Global Climate March and raise their voices louder than ever. There’s never been a greater need. … join the Global Climate March in your community to show your support for climate justice.”

TOMORROW! November 21st at 10:30am at Lake Merritt Amphitheatre

The Paris COP meeting is the world’s best chance to demand binding carbon pollution agreements. Whether intended or not, the (climate crisis-exacerbated) Syrian war and ISIL attacks threaten the people’s voice at this critical historical moment. Let’s show the world, that Bay Area people care.

Join 200 environment, faith-based, labor and social justice organizations at the Northern California Climate Mobilization at one of the first and largest of over 2000 Global Climate Marches. Bring as many friends, family and co-workers as you can. THIS is THE climate protest of the year.

TRANSPORTATION: There are buses leaving & carpools from many northern & central California locations. (check http://www.350bayarea.org/)

VOLUNTEER: There are many fun ways to get more involved by helping out at the march.
